The Boys are back and they’re sexier and raunchier than ever! Since losing their “butt virginity” in Another Gay Movie, the boys are now onto a new contest- who can get laid the most in one wet and wild week of hedonism in sunny Fort Lauderdale. But it’s never quite as easy or clean as it should be. Boyfriends Griff and Jarod are working through their young love and finding their bounds of affection stretched by pressure to have an open relationship. Andy has seemingly found the Latin love of his life, but frustratingly the guy is a virgin and wants to take it slow. And Nico just can’t get any sex to save his life. Additionally, the boys have to contend with fiendish gay fratboys attempting to win the contest at any cost, unfortunate crab infestations, malfunctioning lube, mermen and a musical ode to watersports that must be seen to be believed. And like any great sequel, Gays Gone Wild ups the ante with an even more amazing supporting cast and clever cameos than the first. Scott Thompson is back as Andy’s doting and dirty father, but a slew of newcomers round out this hilariously dirty romp through sunny Fort Lauderdale: RuPaul, Lady Bunny, Perez Hilton (as a priest!), porn gods Colton Ford and Brent Corrigan and many more. Director/Writer Todd Stephens (Gypsy 83, Another Gay Movie) is back at the helm and at the top of his game with Gays Gone Wild, telling a rollicking gay sex comedy like none other. And though nothing is sacred in the Another Gay Sequel universe, Stephens never forgets to add a good dose of heart…and a really good dick joke. — James Montaño
Feature
In this light-hearted comedy from director Yair Hochner, we follow a group of young people in Tel Aviv as they navigate their way through a series of romantic and domestic entanglements. Omer is turning thirty in a matter of days and is still looking to find himself. His blind dates leave much to be desired and he despairs of ever finding the man of his dreams. Shirley, his younger sister, has already found her perfect woman in Michal. But although the relationship is going well, Shirley is scared of settling down and giving up her dream of traveling to Antarctica. Friends and family enter the picture to give unsolicited advice to the siblings, no one more so than their mother, Shoshanna, played by one of Israel’s most famous drag artists, Yoam Huberman. Huberman, along with a cast of colorful characters, makes this film a delight from beginning to end! – Rachel Popowcer

John (Jesse Rosen) moves from New York to L.A. hoping to make some changes. He and his girlfriend have just broken up and he’s ready to start anew on the West Coast. He moves in with some old friends and catches up with an old college friend Maddy (Rachel Castillo). He’s surprised to find out that Maddy is a lesbian. Being another East Coast import, Maddy’s sick and tired of her job but is even more stressed by her girlfriend’s new plan to move in. And yet her new handsome neighbor is providing a titillating distraction. On the other hand, John’s new job at an advertising agency is causing its own stress as his handsome boss Paul (Johnny Ray) starts hitting on him. Though John has a reputation among his friends of being something of a ladies man, he’s slowly falling into Paul’s trap and it’s making him question himself. First-time director Jesse Rosen deftly tells us in this indie dramedy that it’s ok not to know. – James Montaño
