Three years ago, in the small town of Yuma, Arizona, drag performer Amancio Corrales’ body was found floating in the Colorado River. He had been attacked and brutally murdered; his dream of becoming an entertainer in Vegas never realized. When the authorities let the investigation become a cold case, area resident Michael Baughman, who never knew Amancio, resolved to keep the story of this vicious hate crime alive.
This documentary follows one man’s seemingly futile search for justice, the apathy of a small town, and the eventual disclosure of what happened that fateful night.
Interviews with Amancio’s family and friends and a recounting of the investigation bring the conclusion of this case to an amazing end.
